How to Plan MOQ for Custom Clothing Orders

MOQ is affected by fabric sourcing, dyeing, trims, printing, packaging, and factory line planning.

MOQ is not a fixed number for every apparel project. It changes with fabric availability, color requirements, trims, logo methods, size range, and production complexity.

If the fabric is available in stock, the starting quantity may be lower. If the project needs custom dyeing, exclusive fabric, or many colorways, the MOQ usually increases.

Before requesting a quote, buyers should decide which details are essential and which can be adjusted. This helps reduce unnecessary cost and shortens development time.
